Kernel debug in Checkpoint is not rare as it gives full insight how firewall processes the packets. As the most comprehensive type of debug it also loads the CPU, not catastrophically though but still. If you happen to enable kernel debug and see the system goes overload - the fastest way to disable all kernel debug is by using this command on the command line:
fw ctl debug 0
The last being zero, not ‘o’ .
